Straylight Run’s John Nolan Takes On Solo Music Career

johnnolanJohn Nolan, who is the frontman of Straylight Run, has hit the road and is preparing for the release of his solo album.

“I’ll be playing songs from my upcoming solo album and a couple of acoustic Straylight songs(probably ones we’ve rarely or never played live),” Nolan said on Straylight Run’s Myspace blog.

Nolan plans to incorporate his fellow touring musicians and audience members into a constantly evolving live show. Camille, Nolan’s wife who accompanies the musician on guitar and piano, joins also Nolan on stage.

“I’ll be touring with a band you might know called Mansions,” added Nolan on the blog. “They, along with my wife Camille will form my backing band for the tour.”

John Nolan’s solo project promises to be an exciting one, as he steps out of his traditional front man role and into the exciting possibilities of life as a solo artist, according to his Myspace page.
