Mugasha.com is a database, which showcases electronic music podcasts and extended live sets from world famous DJ’s. The site claims to be a Hulu type experience for electronic music fans.

The site’s creators generated an experience around this music that you can share with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, etc. as well as buy music, and concert tickets, according to the site. They are focused on delivering the best music listening experience on the internet.

Mugasha’s mission is to evolve into a site that helps artists grow and create a strong presence in the music industry. The site also wants fans to enjoy the music offered the way they want it.

The site also features blogs that feature artists and shows within the electronic music realm. Plus, they offer a team blog, which includes posts about updates, new Mugasha marketing tools and music features.

Mugasha started as a small project at Startup Weekend in Portland, OR. The concept was produced after of Akshay Dodeja’s found that the process to search for new music was a struggle.

As an avid listener of DJ sets, he found it tedious to download sets each week from different artists and then try to guess the names of the songs he was listening to, according to the site.  A few months after that weekend, Akshay and Justin Thiele decided to build Mugasha, a service that would provide a better music listening experience to other people who love electronic music.
