Darling Waste is giving away 19-tracks for free! The songs on For the Gloomy Guses and Negative Nancies include b-sides, live and cover tracks that the band has recorded over the years.
“We have this free album, plus a new full length [album] coming up in October,” said Lance Waste, founder and lead singer of the band. “We recorded the new studio album in england and the one we are giving away is a collection of b-sides and covers.”
Some of Waste’s favorite albums are rarities and bootleg releases.
“I think they give more of an insight into the process of song writing, and it’s always fun to pull back the curtain and see the bands misses, instead of just the polished songs that make it onto studio albums,” explained Waste.
The idea of a b-sides album came in late 2006, but the band hasn’t had the opportunity to release it until now. The double-disc album is a digital only release.
Darling Waste has been described as an emotionally charged, acoustic and piano driven indie rock band with introspective and honest lyrics.
