Indie Band Axium Release Graveyard Shift Today

GraveyardShift_AxiumIndie Band Axium has released Graveyard Shift today. The album is available on CD and digital EP format at iTunes and Amazon.

The EP includes an extended edit, radio edit, remix and instrument versions of the single. A Limited Edition 7″ is in the works to follow later this fall.

Scott Llamas of Popsmear Records co-produced the track and the album is currently being mastered by Franco Fucili of Pennabilli, Italy.

Franco heard the promo version on an internet radio channel and fell in love with the fresh sound. He offered his services for free after some effort to contact the band.

On October 29, 2009, San Francisco-based Alternative Rock / Electro Pop Band Axium released their debut self-titled EP.

Formed in 2005, The trio hosts the writing and song of the soulful, blues-inspired frontman “Mezz” – who stands a towering 6′8″ and brings new meaning to the term “stage presence.”

Music is driven by Synthesizers, Keys and Electronic Drums from Tech-Man “ISM” and backed by metal-inspired Bass Guitarist Kimo Mook.

Axium has been compared to Ava-Adore era ‘Pumpkins, She Wants Revenge, Depeche Mode and even new funkier rock like “The Heavy.”

Seriously people, if you haven't heard of Axium yet make it the first thing you do today. You will NOT be disappointed... I first came across them through Last.Fm (an internet radio station of sorts) and have been utterly hooked since. There is no sound like it, the nearest I could describe it is NIN meets Elvis, though really that does not do them the justice they deserve. I eagerly await any new material. Thank you Axium
