Teaming up with MTV’s hit series, The Buried Life, non-profit organization To Write Love on Her Arms will be helping a young lady live her dream of creating a night of hope and help in Rochester, Minnesota on Friday, August 6th at 8pm.
This unique event will feature live music by indie artist, Mat Kearney. All are invited to attend and the all ages, free event will be aired on an episode of MTV’s The Buried Life in its upcoming season.
The Buried Life is a show about four guys living their dreams, doing all the things they want to do before they die. But for every dream they complete on their list, they help a stranger complete one of their own.
The Buried Life recently connected with a 22 year old girl named Lexie in Rochester, MN. Lexie is a TWLOHA supporter who knows what it is to struggle with depression and self-injury. She wants other people who live with these issues to know they’re not alone.
TWLOHA info and merch will be available and we will be working to make people aware of resources – places where they can find help in their community. The event is free and all are welcome to attend!
To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
