To Write Love On Her Arms Supports AFSP Out of Darkness Community Walk

AFSPOn Sunday, October 24thTo Write Love on Her Arms will be supporting the AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention)’s Out of the Darkness Community Walk in New York. The event will start at City Hall Park, located in downtown Manhattan.

TWLOHA will have a team of people walking, as well as an information tent set up to talk to the TWLOHA team members. The TWLOHA team will also be recruiting volunteers for the launch of IMAlive, a live online crisis network.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide.

Net proceeds from the Out of the Darkness Community Walks will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to fund research, education and advocacy programs, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide.

To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
