Indie Band NGHBRS Scheduled to Play Long Island Holiday Festival

Long Island, New York based 4-piece rock band known as NGHBRS will be playing the Long Island Holiday Festival on December 19 with Good Old War, The Republic of Wolves, Koji, and more.

The 2-day nonprofit event will give back to the community that has given so much already. The Holiday Festival will be giving all proceeds toAngel Tree; an organization devoted to children whom are not fortunate enough to celebrate this coming holiday season with a parent or parents due to imprisonment. For more on Angel Tree go to AngelTree.com.

In May 2010, the indie band entered the studio with renowned producer Bryan Russell (Envy On The Coast, Straylight Run, The Narrative) and Dan Gluszak (Envy on the Coast) to record their first EP, Hellomind. The EP is a tasteful mix of the band’s raw energy, catchy hooks, and melodic instrumentation.

Formed in the summer of 2009, NGHBRS, made it their mission to create the most unique musical project they possibly could. After months of writing and collaborating, Ian Kenny (vocals/keys), Jordan Schneider (drums), Tommy Fleischmann (guitar), and Eric Vivelo (bass), were confident in their newfound sound.

With the release of Hellomind, the band has since shared the stage with bands like Envy on The Coast, The Sleeping, Matt and Kim, and Cassino. They have also been featured in the New York Times and have numerous blogs buzzing about their unique sound.  To find out more on NGHBRS and where they’ll be playing next, please go to www.nghbrs.com.
