Cisco Adler and The Pigeons to Play The Roxy Theatre
Cisco Adler and his new band, The Pigeons, will be performing live at The Roxy on November 16. They will deliver their California pop and rock twist, full of big hooks and sing-a-long melodies, to an all-ages crowd with friends The Street Drum Corps.
With tracks varying from the upbeat, horn-accompanied “Body Language,” to the stripped down, acoustic “Maybe Never,” there’s a song for everyone.

Lyrical dynamo Chris Young the Rapper releases his first single, “Stoned” via the World Wide Web. This comes 10 days before the release of his highly anticipated mixtape, The 1991 EP.
“The record is a ode to the golden era of hip hop. When beats had soul and the rhymes meant something,” said Cisco Adler, who produced the set of songs and heads up Young’s label Bananabeat Records.
“Stoned,” returns the listener to the glory days of hip-hop. Del The Funky Homosapien, innovator and legend, is featured on the track in classic form. Del, who most recently worked with the likes of powerhouse producer Dan “The Automator” Nakamura and the alternative hip-hop group, Gorillaz, served as a huge inspiration to Young for 1991.

Cisco Adler Debuts Solo Project, Plays Sunset Strip Music Festival
Producer and musician Cisco Adler, best known for his work in alterna-rap duo Shwazye, is preparing to debut his new solo project.
Cisco Adler and the Pigeons will play their debut show on Saturday, August 28th at legendary Roxy Theater in Hollywood, CA, as part of the 3rd annual Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF). The festival runs from August 26th-28th and will include established headliners such as Slash, The Smashing Pumpkins, Kid Cudi, and Common. It will also serve as a platform for up-and-coming artists.
Adler recently released “The Rough Demos”—three brand new solo songs, online for free on his bandcamp page. All of the tracks feature Adler’s ever-present California sound and distinctive production style. “Body Language” has a catchy, classic vibe to it, showcasing upbeat piano and horns.
