South Carolina pop/rock act, The Fire Apes, have released their highly anticipated new album, A Life In Letters.
The indie band is fronted by lead singer, songwriter and guitarist, John Seymour, who often writes metaphorically about love and relationships using literary references, musically framed with melodic hooks.
The independent band has unveiled a video for their track “Swan Song” off of their recent release, Swan. Unwritten Law are currently on tour promoting the album.

The independent band’s first full-length album, City By The Sound, is a record comprised of 11 coming-of-age tracks reminiscent of bands like The Script, Parachute, OAR, and Maroon 5. Their music combines the best of pop-rock with a musical sensibility. Eric, the group’s vocalist and primary songwriter, cites artists like Stevie Wonder and Sara Barielles as his key influences for writing catchy pop songs with intricate melodic foundations.
The Damnwells have released their new album, No One Listens To The Band Anymore. The independent band will release the new album via PledgeMusic Records – Poor Man’s Records.
The independent band successfully generated a fund to create the album through Pledgemusic.com. The band has offered people who pledged extra perks such as free music and online concerts via Ustream.
