Darling Waste have made their new album, Good and Bad Angels, available for sale in the UK and Europe. The indie band will be releasing the album in the US on Tuesday. Good and Bad Angels is released via Big Buzz Records.
Guitar Center announced a new episode of Guitar Center Sessions featuring legendary post-punk British rockers The Cult. Set to premiere Saturday, December 4 at 9 p.m. ET, the episode includes intimate and revealing interviews with the band and performances of iconic songs including “Sweet Soul Sister”, “Rain”, “Rise”, “Wildflowers” and the new single “Embers”, among others.
Their mission is simple, to share with their readers/listeners the music that they love themselves and the music that needs to be heard by the masses. They’re here because they believe in good music!
Q) Tell us a little bit about your site. What inspired you to start it?
London based Internet radio startup Mixcloud announced a bold move into the consumer electronics market with the launch of the world’s first 3D radio.The radio – a deceptively small device that fits into the palm of your hands – provides an immersive sound experience with the listener at the centre. The company describes it as the “Ball of Sound”.
The founders of Mixcloud – Engineers and Mathematicians from Cambridge University – had their first experience of 360 degree sound at Berlin’s leading hardcore techno club, aptly named Hard. They fell in love and set out to replicate the experience in a device that fits into your pocket. Mixcloud received support from a UK Government grant and collaborated with leading audio and electronics specialists from around the world to develop the solution.

Te Vaka is a group of musicians and dancers from Tokelau, Tuvalu, Samoa, Cook Islands and New Zealand brought together under the inspired leadership of Opetaia Foa’i. Te Vaka has been enchanting the world with their own brand of South Pacific Fusion since 1997. Using the rhythms of the log drum (“pate”), combined with traditional and contemporary instruments, Opetaia Foa’i and the band deliver a kaleidoscopic array of Pacific flavors in a genre all of it’s own.
Te Vaka has performed in the USA and toured the UK, Europe & other parts of the world extensively over the last 13 years, performing in such prestigious venues as London’s Royal Festival Hall and Ronnie Scott’s nightclub.
The group has headlined music festivals throughout Europe and been favourites at WOMAD festivals around the world including the WOMAD Festival in Seattle, USA. They are in demand for many important world events and have represented New Zealand and the South Pacific with performances for the America’s cup events in Auckland, the Commonwealth games in Melbourne, the Rugby World Cup in Paris and the Olympic Games in Beijing.
